Meetings

As a club, we're passionate about serving people with disabilities, seniors, and children in our community, and we regularly band together to do so by hosting health screenings, donating hearing aids, glasses, holiday toys, and everyday essentials to people in need and more. We also support our members in pursuing their individual service passions.

Last year, we spend 839 hours serving more than 877 people, and we donated $4,877 to various causes!

Some of our ongoing project are:

  •  Helping local hospital staff learn to accommodate patients who are blind or vision impaired
  • Helping Avondale's Mindful Living Community Garden become more accessible for neighborhood seniors and people with disabilities.
  • Donating organic, garden-grown produce to Community Dinners
  • Serving popcorn to children and seniors attending events at the 25th District Police Station
  • Collecting used eyeglasses to donate through the Lions of Illinois Foundation

Every autumn, we raise funds to support these projects with our signature event - the annual Murder Mystery Fundraiser - held the Sunday before Halloween.

What cause motivates you to give in your community? Join us, and we can support it together!
