VISION CARE

Another of our endeavours to do everything we can to provide good eyesight to children. Our club organized an “Eye Screening Camp” at Pulianthope; which is a part of the adopted Area of the Club for Sight First and access to health care services.

1 Cataract Surgery, 140 eye check-ups, 30 free prescription glasses.

Over Two Doctors from Udhi Eye hospital were on ground to carry out eye examinations, prescribe drugs and offer medical advice where necessary. Contact of patients that need Cataract surgery was documented and to be followed up in due course for a free eye surgery coming up a week later.

The event started at 09:00 hrs and ended by 13:00 hrs.  Total Project Cost Rs.9,500/-.
