Recent projects and services

• Weekly bingo - social event for the public and a club fundraiser 
• Annual monetary awards for graduating seniors at Penns Valley High School
• Complimentary use of our clubhouse for Red Cross blood drives, Quilts of Valor quilting group, and other charitable/volunteer organizations
• Collection of gently used medical equipment that is provided to those in need for no charge (e.g., wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers, crutches, etc.)
• Collection of used eyeglasses and sunglasses - these are gathered, sorted, and delivered to Pittsburgh where club members can be involved in additional sorting or recycling activities 
• Create and deliver floral arrangements for local nursing home residents' birthdays - delivered at the beginning of each month
• Holiday meal boxes for homebound residents of Centre Hall Borough - includes enough food for a large dinner for two or multiple meals for a single resident. We coordinate with local businesses to gather donations
• Holiday goodie bags for local nursing home residents (puzzle books, hand lotion, lip balm, tissues, etc.)
• Donations to local charities, scout troops, fundraisers, etc., and also to some affiliated with our Lions Club PA District and Lions Club International
• Events and activities for kids and families such as kids' bingo, egg hunts, breakfast with the easter bunny, etc.
