Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion!

The men and women of Lions Clubs International are friends, family and neighbors like you who share a core belief: community is what we make it. We are the largest service club organization in the world. Our 1.4 million members perform valuable service in 210 countries and geographic areas around the globe.

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief - to serve their community. The Cedarburg Lions club was chartered back in 1947. IT'S OUR 75TH ANNIVERSARY! Our members consist of people from all walks of life with a passion for serving our community. We are one of the busiest clubs in Wisconsin, and it shows with our financial support to the Wisconsin Lions Camp and other local charities. Nine major fundraising events take place during the year including all of the Cedarburg Festivals, three golf outings, selling Poinsettias in November and hosting Bingo during the Ozaukee County Fair. All of our profits from these events go to support our Lions Club charities.

Our club participates in local service projects such as building a public canoe launch on Cedar Creek or working at a food Pack-a-thon, providing Bingo for a nursing home and rehab residents to name a few. Twice a year, our club helps the Eye Bank transport corneas so someone can have the gift of sight as well as collecting and recycling eye glasses and hearing aids.

More information about our local Lions Clubs visit on our District 27-A2 website. There are State, National and International programs. More information visitLions International website.
