Our newest project is an Indian Santa at our December 6th Pancake Breakfast. We will have an Indian Santa that children can have their picture taken with if you bring  camera.

Another of our projects is the Millitary Tree Of Life. For Five Dollars you can have a veterans name and branch of service put on our tree. All moneys from the the Tree is Donated to Project New Hope.

As the leaves change colors and gentle fall to the ground, we are reminded that it is time once again to remember those who helped form this great nation, and those who stand guarding her, to protect us from harm in the present.

The Cass Lake Lions Club, is once again displaying a Military Tree, where you have the opportunity to show your gratitude to a loved one, past or present, that proudly served his Country by joining the military.  The Lions are selling leaves that go on our tree, for $5.00 a leaf.  On this leaf, we put the name of the soldier, the branch of service they were in, and if they served during a War.  This is an ideal time to remember that great, great grandfather from your family tree that perhaps served in the Civil War.

We all have ancestors and relatives that we are proud of their accomplishments.  All of the money from this project will be donated to Project New Hope.  Project New Hope is a Lion program that helps our returning servicemen adjust back to civilian life after witnessing the horrors of war.  It is a place they can relate with other soldiers that have had their experiences.  It gives the soldier and his family some alone time at no expense to them.

I hope you will see this project as a worth while cause and support our endeavor.  Call me, Connie Greenway, 218-255-1633, if you want to purchase a leaf.
