Club Projects

The Carlisle Lions Club sales mints with the Lions logo at multiple locations.  If you know of a good place to place mints that come in three flavors then talk to the Mint chairperson.

Eyeglass collection:

The Carlisle Lions club has multiple locations that people can drop old and used eyeglasses that are collected to be reused for those that cannot afford to purchase eyeglasses.

Eyeglass Purchase Program:

The Carlisle Lions club pays for eye exams and then pays for a pair of glasses for those that cannot afford them.  We are currently working with the Carlisle Area School District to support the needs of school children.

Beacon Lodge:

Beacon Lodge is 583 Acres in Huntingdon County.  Our club works with the camp and Project New Hope providing healing and hope for disable veterans and their families.

Stuffed Lions:

The Carlisle Lions Club provides Yellow and Pink Shirted 6” stuffed Lions appropriate for all ages.  Lions have been provided free to multiple agencies in the Carlisle area and are a club promotion as well as a small fundraiser through sale of the Lion.

Vision Screening:

Vision screening for children helps identify those who may have vision problems requiring comprehensive follow-up by a profession eye care provider.

Don Campbell Award:

The Don Campbell Memorial Award is given to an outstanding graduating senior at the Carlisle High School (CHS).  The recipient is chosen by the CHS teachers and administration, and the name is provided to the Carlisle Lions Club.
