Our flagship fundraiser is our Annual Pancake Supper & Auction, usually held the first Monday in March. Everybody always has a great time at this activity. We also raise funds through our soft drink and candy concessions at Carlisle Jr. & Sr. High School football games and through mint sales. Some of the activities and organizations we support include:
- Lions World Services for the Blind, the premier training center for visually-impaired individuals, located in Little Rock, Arkansas;
- Mid-South Sight and Hearing Center, located in Memphis, Tennessee;
- Arkansas Lions Eye Bank, located at UAMS, in Little Rock;
- Summer camp sponsor for visually-impaired child;
- College scholarships to local high school graduates;
- New software for Carlisle High School computer classes;
- New equipment for Carlisle High School special education programs;
- New baseball scoreboard for Rockefeller Park;
- Charter organization for Carlisle Boy Scout Troop 101;
- Carlisle Public Library Summer Reading Program;
- Wade Knox Child Advocacy Center;
- Lonoke County Safe Haven domestic violence shelter;
- CASA of Lonoke County;
- Collection of used eyeglasses;
- Arkansas DHS Haunted House;
- Free eye examinations and glasses for those in need;
- Donated $10,000 toward the Carlisle Senior Citizens Center;
- Sponsor student delegates to Arkansas Boys State;
- Support student optometrists on eyecare missions to Central America;
- Helped to fund a new playground for the Arkansas School for the Blind; and
- Purchased two scoreboards for new Carlisle High School gymnasium.
