Signature Activities
Scholarships: Each year Canterbury graduating seniors are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Application information is sent to guidance departments of each of the high schools where our students attend by the chairperson of the scholarship committee.
Canterbury Cares Community Food Pantry: Located at the First Congregational Church of Canterbury, town green, Rte. 169, 860-546-9007. Our Club makes biannual donations, along with additional assistance as needed.
Eye glass and Hearing-aid Collection: We collect eye glasses and hearing-aids throughout the year. Collection boxes are located at the transfer station and in the library entranceway. Annually Lions Clubs International holds an Eye Glass Extravaganza, where our Club members deliver donated items.
