40 years with Breakfast with the Balloons
This year makes the 40th year that Belconnen Lions Club has provided breakfast to the spectators and crews. This year the event will again be held on Patrick White Lawns below the National Library from the 14th to the 22th March 2026 from 6.00am.
We will again be providing full or light breakfasts, pancakes and tea / coffee from 5.30am

District Governor's Reading Action Program
Belconnen Lions agreed to support the District Governor's Reading Action initiative by purchasing the books produced and donating a copy of each to all the primary schools in the Belconnen area. Lion Beverly took on the delivery task and over the past few weeks visited all the schools and made the presentation. She reported that all schools gratefully received the books and were placing presentation photos in their respective school newsletters.

Lions Croke Place is a Lions Environmental Project in which Lions Club Canberra Belconnen is an integral part. The convenor is Mick Brice. Here is his video taken by drone. Everyone in the community is welcome at our working bees.
