The Cameron Fishing Festival is sponsored by the Cameron Lions Club. The festival was started as a way to both showcase the wonderful natural resources that Cameron Parish has to offer, plus raise funds for our clubs numerous community projects and programs.

The festival is held the first full weekend of every August and will take place at the Cameron Jetty Pavilion.

Great food, music, games, childrens activites, queens pageants and crafts booths ensure families will have continuous enjoyment during the two day event.

Along with the festival, there is a Saltwater Fishing Tournament with cash and prizes awarded.
