The awards were established to assist worthy students planning to further their education. Eligibility is restricted to high school seniors who reside in the Bushy Run Lions Club’s geographical area of Penn Township (east of Baker School Road). Candidates must have been accepted to admission to a college, university, or other school requiring a minimum of two (2) years of study for graduation. However, the Bushy Run Lions Club reserves the right to waive any or all of the conditions of eligibility. 

Awards shall be based on the criteria as outlined on page two of this application. Please review them carefully. Candidates are required to submit a written statement with the application outlining their educational plans and why they believe they are deserving of this award. The statement shall not be more than two hundred (200) words and must be attached to the application. It is an important part of the application.  
 
Three Carl R. Bruno scholarship awards of $1,000.00 will be made, one Emory C. Toth Jr. for $1,000.00, and one Terry Perich for $500.00.  Awards will be paid directly to the schools chosen by the scholarship winners. Good luck.
   
Corona Virus permitting - Winners, along with their parents, will be invited to be the guests of the Bushy Run Lions Club at our Dinner Meeting the first week of May. Complete details will be provided to the winners.
