Club Projects

A number of projects have been undertaken under the Bushenyi Speciality Lions Club. Following our core mission of STAY IN SCHOOL(SIS), key projects have been lined up and others already implemented under this theme. Not forgetting the core objectives of Lions Club International. The projects are briefly mentioned below:

1. SUSTAINABLE UPKEEP (FOOD BASKET PROJECT-GARDENING) SIS Intiative

A realization that many students in universities and higher institutions of learning drop out of their studies due to lack of means of survival at school was quite sobering. Following a common slogan of where There is need, There is a Lion, we swung into action. Though its still work in progress, the successes are already overwhelming. PROJECT DETAILS

The Gardening project: Tomatoes, Sweet potatoes, Irish potatoes.
