WHO ARE WE?

The Burnaby Edmonds Club was chartered in June 2004.  The Club is one of 45,000 Lions Clubs with a total of 1.4 million members making us the world’s largest service club organization.

Our Club has 24 dedicated men and women who volunteer their time, talent and services to raise fund which help the underprivileged.

We have meetings once a month to organize, develop programs and events to help make an impact on our community. 

We socialize and interact with each other and other Lions Club in the True spirit of fun and fellowship.

 

WHAT WE DO?

We have the following annual activities and fundraisers:

·         Sponsor the Byrne Creek Leo Club

·         Participate and volunteer in the Annual Burnaby City Fair

·         Host, participate and volunteer in the Annual Edmonds Santa Claus Parade

·         In 2006-2007 we donated over 40,000 English books with resulted in the opening of 2 English libraries in the Province of Henan, China. 

 In 2010 we have proudly made donations to the following:

·         Edmonds Community School

·         Stride Avenue Community School

·         2nd Street Community School

·         Edmonds City Fair

·         Progressive Housing (Walker Street)

·         Canadian Red Cross (Haiti Relief)
