- ABOUT THE LIONS -

The Buckhorn District Lions are a dedicated group of volunteers committed to improving life in
our community. Through hands-on projects, fundraising events, and partnerships, we work together to support local programs, schools, and families.
 

Our Recent Initiatives

• Supported the ongoing refurbishment of the playground at Buckhorn Public School
• Provided funding to refurbish the school library
• Helped establish the Buckhorn Public School Soccer Club (ongoing)
• Provided ongoing funding for the school’s hot lunch program

Our Newest Initiative

The newest initiative for the Buckhorn District Lions is to spearhead the formation of a new
music program at Buckhorn Public School.

• Support for the Girls Ice Cats Hockey Team
