Welcome to the Bristol County Lions Club

"We Serve" – Heart, Hands, and Hope in the East Bay

Since our founding, the Bristol County Lions Club has been dedicated to one simple but powerful goal: To Serve. As part of Lions Clubs International—the world’s largest service organization—we are a group of neighbors, friends, and leaders who believe that by working together, we can change lives right here in Bristol and Warren.

Our Mission in Action

We don’t just talk about service; we live it. Our club is the driving force behind vital local initiatives that strengthen our community:

  • Vision First: We are the "Knights of the Blind," providing critical vision screenings in our local schools and supporting eyeglass recycling to ensure everyone has the gift of sight.

  • Hunger Relief: Through events like our annual East Bay Turkey Trot, we raise thousands of dollars and collect food donations to support the East Bay Food Pantry.

  • Empowering Youth: From the International Peace Poster Contest to college scholarships, we invest in the creativity and future of our local students.

  • Global Reach, Local Impact: While we tackle global causes like diabetes awareness and environmental protection, our focus remains on the families and organizations in our own backyard.

Why Join Us?

Are you looking for a way to give back? When you join the Bristol County Lions Club, you aren't just joining a "club"—you are joining a family of volunteers who turn compassion into action. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to lead a major community project, there is a place for you here.

As a Lion, you will:

  • Make a Difference: See the immediate impact of your work on local families and neighbors.

  • Build Friendships: Connect with civic-minded people at our monthly meetings at the Lobster Pot in Bristol.

  • Grow as a Leader: Develop new skills while organizing events and managing service projects.

Help Us Make a Difference

The needs of our community are growing, and we need your help to meet them. Whether you choose to become a membervolunteer at an event, or support us through a donation, your contribution stays local and does good.

Come see what we’re all about! We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Lobster Pot Restaurant in Bristol. We would love to meet you and share how you can help us serve the East Bay.
