About Us

The Brighton Lions, located in South Brighton, South Australia, are a welcoming bunch of men of women who are eager to support our community in a myriad of different ways.  We are an active club with plenty of opportunities for members to participate in a number of different activities to support the club and our community.

Meetings are held twice monthly on the first and third Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30pm. at the Marion Club Sturt Road.  Members are invited to have dinner or simply attend the meeting. The third Tuesday meeting is a partner’s night with a guest speaker or quiz night.

In addition, we have ad hoc social outings such as trips to Monarto Zoo, Hearing Dogs & Australia Day lunch.

Our Lions Club Shed is located at 6 Tweedale Avenue in South Brighton.  We sell books, clothing, Bric-a-Brac, plants etc. We operate Thursday and Sundays 10am - 1pm.

Our Club Members assist with the running of our Christmas Sleigh in the Holdfast Bay area with assistance of community groups selling our Christmas Cakes. Effectively the Brighton Lions Club supports the entire community of Holdfast Bay, stretching from Glenelg down to Marino.  Our members come from across Adelaide.

The Brighton Lions are proudly part of Lions International, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm, and energy.
