Before buying your favorite ice cream treat, stop by our group seated in the area behind the Ice Cream Stand and say hello. We’d love to meet you and hear about your interests. Ask us about our club activities, service projects, and our charities. We’ll have some of our award-winning club’s information to display. For those interested in learning more about Lions and our club, we’ll have some printed brochures you can take home. We’ll also have a box for you to drop off any unwanted eyeglasses, hearing aids, and empty pill bottles (labels removed) for recycling. Think about joining us with a friend. We welcome new members.

12th Annual History Mystery Tour

Meet at Music Alley in Bridgewater Center
Please join us for an evening of entertaining stories about Bridgewater. Some “history,” some “mystery,” some legend, rumors and a ghost story or two…… We will be entering a cemetery and 3 or 4 buildings, depending on the date of the tour. A paranormal investigator with EVP equipment will be with us. We will have some guest speakers as well Meet at 5:30pm in Music Alley (in Central Square, Bridgewater) The tour starts at 5:45pm and ends about 8:30pm. The Tour is approx. a 1½-2 mile walk. It is NOT handicap friendly. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring a flashlight, water and a camera. Restrooms available from 6:30ish to the end of the tour. Park in the town lot behind CVS, at the Academy Building, or at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 98 Bedford St. (Route 18) Bridgewater, where we will end the tour. Proceeds benefit Bridgewater Academy Lions Club Charities, the Robert L. Smith, Jr. Scholarship Fund, VFW 1125 Auxiliary. Tour limited to 40 persons. Reservations recommended and appreciated.
