BJ LIONS FLEA MARKET RAIN DAYS
RAIN DAY DEFINITION:
A rain day is a day when it appears that the rain will continue throughout most of the selling day.
A rain day is when the park is too wet for many vendors to set up in their assigned spaces.
RAIN DAY PROCEDURES:
Once a rain day has been declared by the Boulder Junction Lions the park is OPEN SPACE ASSIGNMENT AND the unoccupied, assigned, reserved spaces are available on a first come first served basis.
The reasons for this approach are:
When the Boulder Junction Lions declare a RAIN DAY most vendors with reserved spaces have already arrived.
Some spaces are not usable because of standing water.
Gathering all vendors in an area surrounding the “bike trail” serves both the vendors and attracts customers to stop and shop. Leaving vendors spread across the market grounds makes it more difficult for customers to find vendors and shop.
All vendors that set up on a RAIN Day will be required to pay for the space(s) where they set up. There will be Lions on hand to assist this process.
On a RAIN DAY, in fairness to all vendors, we are unable to provide REFUNDS (CREDITS) for those (seasonal, monthly, weekly) who have previously paid to reserve a space.
