OUR LOCAL PROJECTS

We take pride in our past. In 1961, the LIONS MEDICAL CLINIC in Boswell opened,which brought a physician to town. The Somerset Home Health and Hospice Program has grown out of this project.

Our current project is the BOSWELL LIONS COMMUNITY PARK. We have raised over $130,000.00 for this park. It is in use every day over the summer. Work on the new concession stand is complete with water and rest rooms.. The  football/soccer field is complete and added to the three ball fields already in use.

        OTHER PROJECTS:

• Sponsor a Little League Team
• During the school year, we honor a Student-of-the-Month
• Provide a $500.00 scholarship to graduating senior
• Support the Somerset Blind Center financially
• Support all the Lions District and International projects
• Support local fire companies and food pantries
• Provide eye glasses for needy citizens
