The Bloomfield Lions Club is proud of being the first service club organized in town and celebrating 80+ years of service. While our service projects vary from year to year, the focus is always on the needs of the local and even global community. The five areas of our foci are Vision, Hunger, Environment, Childhood Cancer and Diabetes. Each year these areas are examined as well as other Humanitarian causes that are being supported by Lions International worldwide. 

Locally, the Bloomfield Lions club is proud of conducting sight pre-screening to preschoolers and elementary children, being part of "Meals on Wheels" deliveries, participating in public space clean-up efforts and collection of film plastic for recycle, collecting eyeglasses for regurbishment, supplying books and readings on Black and Latinos through our local libraries, collecting fund to support the CT Lions Eye Research Foundation, providing Scholarships to local High School graduates, and annually supporting financially a few selected local non-profits.
