Memorial Day Ceremony

In early May the Lions partnered with OMM Soccer to distribute more than 150 bags of food to area seniors and those in need. Lion volunteers bagged food collected by the local soccer club and inserted a note of encouragement in each bag which was then delivered to local seniors.

In late April the Blauvelt Lions created thank you baskets for first responders at Nyack Hospital, the South Orangetown Ambulance Corp, the Orangetown Police Department and the Piermont Ambulance Corp. Baskets with individually wrapped treats were dropped off at each facility along with a letter of thanks and a thank you lawn sign.
