Club Projects

We are always seeking certain items which help support Lions charitable efforts.

We have "adoped" Fort Lions Park (at 109th Avenue near University Avenue) and help the City with maintenance.  We are looking for other ways to engage the neighbors near the park and are open to ideas for other projects to improve the park.

We also sponsor Little League Challenger Baseball Series in Blaine (formerly known as Miracle League).  This division of BALL provides children with special needs the opportunity to play baseball as team members in an organized league.

Food Drives

‚ÄčOur club reaches out to neighborhoods throughout the community to collect food for people in Blaine and throughout Anoka County.  Watch for a food drive bag on YOUR front door sometime.

Collecting Items

These items can be given to any Blaine Central Lion

  • Eyeglasses
  • Cell Phones
  • Inkjet Print Cartridges & Toner Cartridges

We give 100%

We cover all club management costs outside of dollars raised from the public, ensuring that all donated funds/items go to the causes we support.  We aim to operate with transparency and accountability.

We do it ourselves

We are proud to be more than a "check writing" organization.  Whether that means raising money or rolling up our sleeves, we do all we can.
