Black Mountain Lions Club

Proudly serving our community since 1935!

The Black Mountain Lions Club meets at the Marjorie McCune Center in Black Mountain North Carolina, which is owned by the Western North Carolina Lions Inc. Our club actively participates in state and District 31L events. The Black Mountain Lions Club is a Co-Sponsor of the Owen High School Leo Club along with the Swannanoa Valley Lions Club.

Our club has a wide variety of service projects. Our longest running  project is the state Brighter Visions Campaign. Locally we have Adopt a Class Scholarships, the Sourwood Festival Fundraiser, our Dip-A-Duck fundraiser, Halloween Glow Necklace Give-away. One of our newest events that we are really excited about is the Run With the Lions 5k. We also have Adopt a Family, a Fireworks Fundraiser, Eyeglass hearing aid, printer ink cartridges and cell phone recycling, along with a number of service projects.
