The Lions Club of Bishnupur, a Community based Service Organization, came into existence on 16^th February, 2001 with 27 active members. It was chartered on 31^st May, 2001 with Lion MJF Dr.W. Gulapi Singh as the Charter President. The Club was formally inaugurated by the then District Governor, Lion MJF K.K.Shaharia. The Lions Club of Bishnupur was sponsored by the Lions Club of Moirang.
