the Club provided one month food materials as required by the Girija Shankar Drishti Vihin Balika Vidyalaya, Bhagalpur in utter distress and desperate state. This centre is a residential school for 30 extremely poor visually impaired girls.
The club provided rice, atta, pulses, chura, dalmoth, potato and salt as per their one month consumption. The activity received great media attention and social appreciation. Date: 29.08.10, Sunday

                                                             DECEMBER MONTH

1st phase of Blanket Distribution has been Organaised for poor people in hospital on 10.12.2010 at mayaganj. Total number of 105 blanket has distributed to the paitained in hospital.

2) 2nd Phase of Blanket Distribution was held on December 28th.  Lions Club of Bhagalpur Mid Town organized a Blanket Distribution Camp at St. Francis School, Rani Talab Bhagalpur. Around 65 students and poor people of the surrounding areas of Rani Talab were given the Blanket by the Lions Club of Bhagalpur Mid Town.

The camp was formally inaugurated by the Commissioner Dr. Deepak Prasad and Chief Guest of the camp was Father Viju, Principal Mount Assisi School, Bhagalpur (Junior). Father Jumon of St. Francis School was also present at the occasion.

The camp was to donate around 65 needy students and poor people in an around the Rani Talab area. Lions Club has been organizing several Blanket Donation camps in the city during the winter season and has been actively involved in social activities in the city.

3) 23 dec the club has organised the tree plantation at marwari college with the vice chancellor of tilkhamanjhi bhagalpur univercity.

4) lions club of bhagalpur mid town has organised a fellowship tour of shilong on 31st dec where club has done the board meeting. the tour chairperson is lion mjf ravi prakash budhia. 12 total members are in the tour

5) Lions budhia & Sah Food bank a project of Lions Club of Bhagalpur Mid town has stored more than 10 quintol of food for poor & orfen children has distributed by the commssioner of bhagalpur at the missonery school jagdishpur , bhagalpur on 15.12.2010 total member are Ln. MJF Ravi Budhia, Ln Dilip Sah & sevral members are available there.  

                                                                   JANUARY MONTH

1) सौभाग्य मिथिला टी. वी. चैनल, लायंस क्लब ऑफ भागलपुर मिड टाउन  तथा भागलपुरसिटी.कॉम के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में गणतंत्र दिवस की पूर्व संध्या 25 जनवरी को काव्य धारा का आयोजन कमला देवी बुधिया स्मृति भवन, भगवान दास मारवाड़ी टोला लेन, कोतवाली चौक में संध्या 5 बजे से किया गया.

काव्य धारा का शुभारंभ डी.डी.एम् नाबार्ड नबीन कुमार राय ने दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ किया. आयोजन में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम की भी प्रस्तुति की गयी. कार्यक्रम में दिव्यांश कला केंद्र के संस्थापक मिथिलेश कुमार के शिष्यों ने कत्थक- कोपल और मृणाल, रामायण- प्रगति, मेघा, श्वेता, प्रज्ञा, स्नेहा, मनीष, साप्ति, श्रेया, शैलजा, ज्योति और तराना- तनुश्री, मुस्कान और मनीषा ने प्रस्तुत किया. लक्की ब्रदर्स के कलाकारों ने भी सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम की प्रस्तुति की.

लायंस क्लब ऑफ भागलपुर मिड टाउन के रवि प्रकाश बुधिया, अमित चिरानिया, दिलीप साह, अनिल खेतान, महेश शर्मा, पिंटू जसरारपुरिया ने अपनी शुभकामनायें भेजी.

2) Lions Club of Bhagalpur Mid Town organized a Blanket Distribution Camp at Hospital of Missionaries in St. Joseph’s School, Bhagalpur . Around 65 poor patients were given the Blanket by the Lions Club of Bhagalpur Mid Town.
The camp was formally inaugurated by the Commissioner Dr. Deepak Prasad and Chief Guest of the camp was Fr. Varghese, Principal St. Joseph’s School, Bhagalpur. Sister Lisa of Holy Family was also present at the occasion.
Lions Club has been organizing several Blanket Donation camps in the city during the winter season and has been actively involved in social activities in the city. Mid Town President Lion Dilip Sah committed to Holy Family Sister Lisa to organize a camp at Sahibganj orphanage,Nathnagar.

1) ORGANISED A PRESS CONFRENCE WITH MEDIA DAINIK JAGARAN, HINDUSTAN, PRABHAT KHABAR, AAJ, NAI BAAT, TV CHANNEL

MAHUA, TV99, SAHARA SAMAY, ETV BIHAR, INDIA NEWS & ZEE NEWS WAS SUCCESSFULY PRESENTED BY MEDIA & CHANNEL ON

2ND DAY OF THE DAY.

 

2) Lions Club of Bhagalpur organized a 1-day cam of Cerebral Palsy inviting Dr. Jitendra Kumar Jain, M.S. (Ortho) from Allahabad.

The camp was inaugurated by Master Mayank, a patient recuperating from the CP and was chaired by Lion Dilip Kumar Sah, President Lions Club of Bhagalpur, Mid Town and chief guest was Dr. Pratima Modi, Civil Surgeon, Bhagalpur.

The event was organized in association with Bhagalpurcity.com as media partner.
 
Around 98 patients were observed in the day in which 28 patients require operation only after a physiotherapy session of a month.

APRIL MONTH

1) The Electricity Crisis is not over yet. A step is being taken by Bhagalpurcity Mid Town as Signature Campaign against the Electricity Crisis.

Thousand of People Join at Variety Chowk, Bhagalpur for Signature Campaign from 12.30 PM onwards on 19th April 2011.

Gather in large number to sign the Banner. The Banner will be kept for display until it is full from the support of people of Bhagalpur. After complete this campaign the banner will be presented to the chief minister if bihar.

1. The eye check-up camp was organised on sunday 21 august
at mount carmel school from 9.30 am to 4 pm total 269 poor children check up was done on that day. next sunday 28august the child who has geted problem in his eye goes to doctor clinic
the check up was done by the eye speciliest dr satish kumar M.B.B.S.
