  • Hold Student Speakers Contests for high school students with scholarship for winner  
  • Collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for distribution and use in other countries
  • Clean, sort and package used eyeglasses for distribution worldwide
  • Sponsor a Berkeley Youth Baseball team

  • Lions Hearing Foundation - providing hearing aids and care for low income persons
  • Sightsavers  - providing new eyeglasses and care for low income persons
  • Lions in Sightsending used eyeglasses for distribution and use in other countries
  • Lions for Youth - providing teacher training in Lions Quest programs for school children
  • Wilderness Camp for Deaf - ­providing free camping to hearing impaired children
  • Seeing Eye Expedition - providing doctors to do free eye surgeries around the world
  • Lions Club International Foundation - ­providing among the most rapid emergency relief and charitable grants throughout the world
  • Canine Companions for Independence - ­providing specially trained assistance dogs for people with physical, developmental and hearing disabilities
  • City of Hope - providing multi-specialty hospital care and research facilities
