"It's now February and that means our  DEN Night Event on Feb. 25 is only about 3 weeks away.  By now, you've probably seen our poster aaround town and in the Bellville Times.  You will also find a copy posted here on the website.  To ensure the success of our event, it is vital that every Lion  purchase or sell their 4 DEN Night tickets.  We have a great world class band lined up and a live auction with a couple of new exciting auction items.  All this in addition to the famous Lions steak dinner with all the trimmings, and with beer, wine and dessert bar included.  The ticket price of $50 is a tremendous bargain for an event like this.

 

Also, as you know, this is the first time we are holding a raffle in concert with our DEN Night.  The goal is to sell 200 tickets before the event and 50 at the event..  To meet this goal, we need as many Lions as possible to sell raffle tickets.  The price is $25 and the winner can choose among 4 exotic resort destination trips. Plus, if the winner also buys an event ticket and is present during the drawing, he or she will be awarded $500 by the Lions as trip spending money.  If you can sell tickets, they will be available at the next two Lions Club meetings or  from DEN Night Chairman John Grube (979-865-8615 or 713-724-6403) or from Austin County State Bank, Capital Farm Credit, First National Bank, Herridge & Herridge Insurance or Lynn Kiecke Lackey & Eason Insurance.
