Board Meeting Notes

March 4, 2015

• Lynn reported a balance of $1,676.35 in Admin. Account; $1,643.10 in Conventions; $4,404.10 in Activities Account.

• Motion passed to buy a used banner for $20.00.

• Plans set for 3rd Zone Meeting we are hosting, March 14, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Barkley Vil- lage Jalapenos. Flyer is being circulated.

• Ski-to-Sea : we are signed up with B’ham Central to be in the parade and to be in a booth in Fair- haven the day of the race.

• Plans for Casino Night are proceeding . • Vicki working with the Unity Church to hold our

plant sale there in May, about 400 plants so far.

• List of proposed officers for 2015-2016 read.

• Motion passed to pay for a hearing aid for Pavlo Oshurko.

• Central Lions has invited us to do White Cane days with them. Mickie will check with Shirlee about supplies, and Lynn can pick some up in Seattle if need be.

• Motion passed to ratify e-mail vote to endorse Georgia to run for H-1 Zone Chair fo4 2015-2016,

At regular meeting March 11th: Slate of officers for 2015-2016 presented and motion passed to accept .

Awards earned at District H Spring Conference were announced: 1st place for Business Card and Musical Performance by Annette; 2nd place for Uniform Pa- rade, Musical Comedy, and 5-minutes talk. Sue pre- sented with LCI Club Excellence Award
