Serving the needs of Belleview and the surrounding Community!!

    As Helen Keller challenged Lions to "be Knights for the Blind", our focus is on projects involving sight, and hearing disorders.

    We pay for the eye exam and glasses for members of our community that could not otherwise afford them.

    We conduct vision screening in our local schools.

    We serve our community in other ways - every year we select a local family in need and provide gifts, clothes and food to them for Christmas.

    We collect and process used eye glasses that are distributed to the poorer parts of the country and the world.

    We support the training of guide dogs and research into vision related projects.

    Our club raises funds for these projects by holding yard sales, building ecological bird houses and holding White Cane Day collections.
