Mid Alaska Conference Baseball

The Interior Baseball Lions administer the high school season for the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District in accordance with a memorandum of agreement signed every year with the School District.  There are seven high school baseball teams in the Interior, however, the smaller schools have challenging years where they do not have enough players for a team.  Those schools are:

Ben Eielson High School (no team in 2022)

Delta High School

Hutchison High School

Lathrop High School

Monroe Catholic High School

North Pole High School

West Valley High School

In 2021 the Alaska State Activities Association started a small school and large school conference and state tournament.  The small schools in the Interior are Ben Eielson HS, Delta HS, Hutchison HS, Monroe Catholic HS, and North Pole HS.  The large schools are Lathrop HS and West Valley HS; they play league games against Wasilla HS and Colony HS in the Valley.
