Basalt Lions KIDSIGHT

The Basalt Lions club has performed free vision screening for 100's of kids thought the valley for undetected vision problems. In addition we provide funds for exams and eyeglasses for those in need. 

Basalt Lions take their turn at Extended Table

Once a month, the Lions help serve the unfortunate in our community, providing a free meal at the Glenwood Methodist church.

Basalt Lions help out cooking breakfast at the hot air ballooning event! Raise money for Lift UP!

Lions shine at the Shining Stars Event

The Basalt Lions for several years have helped provide support and a meal for the Shining Stars Annual Winter event, supporting kids with cancer and other life threatening illness.

Clothing Distribution to the Navajo Nation

The Club has sponsored the cost to deliver Winter Clothing and Bedding to the Navajo Indian Reservation to be distributed by the St. Bonaventure Mission in Thoreau, New Mexico. The items have been collected throughout the community. The Club has sponsored this efforts for several years.

Colorado 500, River Rendevous and Earth Day Frying Pan River Cleanup

You can catch the famous Basalt Lions Pancake Wagon at various events during the summer, flipping cakes for worthy causes.

High School Scholarships

Thanks to generous donations by our community, each year the Basalt Lions Club gives out 2 $4000 scholarship to graduating Basalt High School Seniors!
