TREE PLANTING AT NAMANGA AREA IN LONGIDO DISTRICT-ARUSHA

The lions Club of Arusha has been doing a number of projects including sight first activities, tree planting, supporting orphans and vulnerable children, supporting health activities in the hospitals and other many more. These activities are more elaborated here:

 


TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY AT KWANSIO WARD IN ARUMERU DISTRICT-ARUSHA

 

The Lions Club of Arusha has been doing this activity to the communities with the main intention of preserving environment. in this village, the Club planted more than two hundred (200) trees in schools and at the hospital.


SIGHT FIRST ACTIVITY AT MBULU  DISTRICT-ARUSHA

The Doctors at Mbulu District doing Cataract to one of the patients who had sight problem. During this activity, the Club managed to serve about four hundred patients.Among them, more than a half got free spectacles and medicines as well as minor and major cataracts to some of the patients.

SAFETY ACTIVITY

This has been a very succesful activity of lions Club of arusha members as they have been ensuring safety to pedestrians around the region.


HAVING GOOD MOMENTS WITH ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN ARUSHA

The Club has been doing this activity for a very long time, to bring  all orphans and vulnerable chin]ldren together and have some fun. this has been making them feel to be a part of this world. in 2013, the Club had a Christmass eve with about fifty (50) children from one of the orphanage centres (KIBOWA)  at Twiga Sports Club
