Anacortes Lions Club puts out over 320 American Flags on 8 Federal holidays per year thanks to the support of local businesses in sponsoring a flag.
Our summer services include participating in the annual Fourth of July Parade to cheer our community,
National Night Out to honor our first responders,
and Ready to Learn Fair to provide Vision and Hearing screening to students coming in to our district.
We also sponsor a monthly Diabetes Support group at Island Hospital and support monthly Low Vision Support group through the Senior Center.
Providing flags of Military Branches and along Parade route and participating in the annual Veterans Day Event and Parade, taking place this year on November 9th from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM in Old Downtown Anacortes.
