The Amherst Lions Club planted an oak tree in memory of our hardworking service member Lion Rick Niedermeyer.  The tree is located on the Amherst bike path close to the Northtown Center.  Pictured is Lion Rick's son John and his wife Shirley.  We would like to thank them for all the service they have provided to the Amherst Community. Close to the memorial tree is also a bench the Amherst Lions have provided to reflect on the trees we have dedicated to our club members.

The Amherst Lions of New York also have a loan closet.  In this we provide scooters, wheelchairs, walkers and other assitive devices to people in need that have been donated to us.
