Great plans for 2025-2026

Planning for Alpines 4th of July at the court house is in progress. The Lions once again will be responsible for managing vendors at the event.

2025 Gun and Knife Show is scheduled for Labor Day weekend (8/30-31). Chair is Lion John Sutherfield and he can be reached at 432-295-2088.  Proceeds from the show will allow Alpine Lions to continue to fund our charities.  

With the beginning of the school year, the club will also provide SPOT machine eye screening. In 2024-2025 Lions year, Alpine provided over 1200 screenings involving 5 school systems.

In mid-November we will hold our annual Pecan Sale.  Look for our table at various events around town from mid November through Christmas.  Our pecans will be the current crop of Pawnee Pecan halves. 

In December, the club will participate in Christma on the Square wherever will provide and serve hot chocolate and cookies.

In the spring, we will be having our annual Rose sale and 6th annual golf tournament.

The above endeavors enable us to continue to support: Brown Santa, Blue Santa, Family Crisis Center, Food Pantry of Alpine, Sunshine House, FFA, Alpine Schools, college scholarships, eye exams and glasses assistance and other community activities and charities.
