2017 Duck Derby
Featuring the $25,000 Lucky Duck Grand Prize
How It Works: On June 30, 2017 at 7 PM, the Allen High Noon Lions Club (AHNCL) will hold its tenth annual charity Duck Derby. 2,000 numbered plastic ducks will be placed in the Watters Creek Shopping Center waterway as part of their Patriotic Concert. The ducks will float on the current and over waterfalls to a finish line. The people who adopted the first 10 ducks that cross the finish line will win great prizes. These same 10 will also be eligible for the $25,000 Lucky Duck Grand Prize.
The ‘adoption’ process is simple. First, determine how many ducks you would like to adopt. Remember, adopting more ducks increases your chance to win a prize. Select your option and submit the fee. You will be provided with numbered tickets corresponding to your ducks.
The Adoption Options are:
One Lonely Duck |
$5.00 |
Quack Pack (5 Ducks for the Price of 4) |
$20.00 |
Ducks Gone Wild (25 Ducks for a Daffy $93.75) |
$93.75 |
Nifty Flight of Fifty (50 Quackers for 175 Smackers) |
$175.00 |
Corporate Quack Attack (100 Ducks for 300 Bucks) |

Those adopting a duck need not be present to win. The Allen High Noon Lions Clubs is a 501 C 3. Adoption fees are considered a donation and may be deducted for tax purposes. No one in the AHNLC or involved in the Duck Derby is compensated for their efforts. Most expenses associated with the Duck Derby are covered by donations and sponsorships from local businesses. 100% of the race proceeds go toward local charitable causes. The annual Duck Derby has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local charities.
Your participation will make this family friendly event even more successful. Thank you.
