Mulch Sale

Our major annual spring project ran for seven Saturdays in the spring of 2017.  Proceeds support many scholarship awards for Ada High School students.  Since 2000, a total of more than $72,000 has been awarded to outstanding students beginning their college careers.

Vision Screening

Local children's vision care needs are assessed at the Ada Public Library, ONU Child Development Center, and the Ready, Set, Grow Preschool in Ada.  Families may apply for support to obtain eyeglasses (see "Forms to Download" page at left).  This program is suspended in 2017 while equipment is being repaired.

Sporting Events

Ada Lions operate ticketing for football and basketball games at Ohio Northern University.

Ada Harvest and Herb Festival

The Ada Lions food stand at this annual fall festival is very popular.  Donated food and drinks help us raise funds to serve our community.

Highway Cleanup

Ada Lions regularly pick up trash on a nearby section of Ohio route 309.

Ada Food Pantry

Ada Lions regularly donate to our local pantry, which serves 50 to 70 households each month in the Ada and Dola communities.

Holiday Movies

In recent years, Ada Lions have treated local children to movies and snacks at the Ada theater during the winter holiday season.

Summer Reading Program

Ada Lions support the Ada Public Library's summer reading program, which hosts several educational programs for people of all ages.
