The West Corners Lions held their annual pancake breakfast on 2-10-2013. Teamed with the U.E. High school bowling club, over 300 breakfasts were served. At the event, the West Corners Lioness club held a bake sale.PDG Lion Dave Rutkowski was the project chairman
On 1-17-2013, DG Lion Doug Russell paid a visit to the West Corners Lions Club. DG Lion Doug gave a very inspiring presentation which included his DG project.(Freedom By Design) During his visit he gave a DG pin to each of the attending members. Additionally , he presented King Lion Ed Kicsak with a 30 year memberrship pin.
The West Corners Lions, Lioness and friends served over 170 Thanksgiving meals to Seniors at Broome West Senior Center . This annual community service project is on going for the past 18 years and remains a favorite to the Lions and Lioness Clubs.
On 11-3-2012, the West Corners Lions held their annul Turkey Party. Chaired by PDG Lion Dave Rutkowski , the event was well attended and was a great success.
The West Corners Lions and Lioness Clubs held their 4th Bi Annual Garage sale on on 10-20-2012.The successful project raises monies for the clubs community youth service projects.
On 8-28-2012, the West Corners Lioness held their annual family outing. Great food and drink was enjoyed by all.
During the 7-19 club meeting PDG Lion Clayt Bagnick was presented with a 50 Year Charter Anniversary Membership from Lions International President Wing-Kum Tam. LionDave Wolfe was presented with a 40 Years Lions membership letter. PDG Lion Clayt is the sole remainding charter member of the West Corners Lions Club. Congratulations to PDG Lion Clayt and Lion Dave for their outstanding service to the West Corners Lions club and to Lions International.

On 6-19-2012, the West Corners Lioness Club inducted their 2012/2013 club officers. The W.C. Lioness 2012-2013 Officers are,Shirley Morgus;(Pres.), Jan Barniak;(1st VP.), Marge Serino;(2ndV.P), Shirley Griffith;(Sect), Lucille Fetsko;(Treas.) and Aleta Sommers;(Tail Twister).
On 5-4-2012 ,the West Corners Lions Club with the help of the West Corners Leo's,family and friends club served over 1200 hot dogs along with drink to the athletics of the Broome /Tigoa Special Olympics . The WC Lions club has been a part of the worthy community project for over 17 years. "We Serve"
