Meetings

#weserve without expectation of thanks but here are expressions as our Club wanted to make a difference BEFORE and during the early stages of COVID 19 pandemic survival:

Washington Blind Hockey Club Presents at a Club dinner Meeting and following we made a donation-

Dear Mr. Kernan,

On behalf of the members and volunteers of the Washington Blind Hockey Club, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Palisades Georgetown Lions Club for your donation  The continued support from your club means a great deal, and allows us to continue helping visually impaired individuals learn to ice skate and play blind hockey.

The Washington Blind Hockey Club's mission is to provide visually impaired people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to enjoy hockey.  Our program is completely free, and we skate every Sunday morning at the Capitals Medstar Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia.  We are a USA Hockey sanctioned, nationally recognized program. The Washington Blind Hockey Club is a 501c(3) EIN #81-1698962 nonprofit, USA Hockey sanctioned, U.S. Veteran founded, and completely volunteer managed.  Donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Thank you again for your support!

Warm regards,

Katie

Dear Mr. Kernan,

Thank you for the Palisades Georgetown Lions Club’s recent contribution in support of the Emergency Preparedness Response fund in relief of COVID-19. This gift makes a real difference for our patients, their families and our entire care team. When you make a gift to Sibley, you help provide advanced technologies and treatments for patients, training opportunities for clinical staff, and financial assistance for medications and transportation for patients in need.
I look forward to sharing more with you about the ways this gift is helping our patients in the coming year. The Palisades Georgetown Lions Club’s generosity is an inspiration to our dedicated physicians, nurses, and other caregivers who work every day to provide exceptional and compassionate care to every patient and family. From all of us at Sibley Memorial Hospital, thank you.
Sincerely,
Kristen Pruski, CFRE
