APRIL NOON MEETING
The Lions club noon meeting will be at the Conewango club at noon on April 23th.. Lion Mike Holtz will bring us up to date on some of the major city maintenance programs.
MAY EVENING MEETING
We will meet for dinner and program at the Conewango Club at 6 PM on May 14th. Club officers will be elected at this meeting.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
The May Board of Directors meeting will follow at 1st United Methodist Church right after the regular evening meeting.
DISTRICT 14-F CONVENTION
Saturday morning, April 27th at Franklin, PA, will have voting for district officers, seminars, and a necrology service which will end with a gala lunch including an address by PID Ron Wright and presentations of district awards. There are 4 votes still available for the District 14-F Convention to members of the Warren Lions club. Let Lion Lisa know if you can attend.
DISTRICT 14-F FAMILY PICNIC
Save the date of June 8th to attend the district family picnic in Townville. Meat and drinks will be available. Bring your spouse and all the kids and a covered dish to enjoy.
DONATIONS REQUESTED FOR LCIF
Intl. floods, storms and other emergencies have created a need. Lions all over the world are being asked to donate to LCIF each year for 3 years to increase available help. You may donate via PDG John Crone.
STATE LIONS CONVENTION
We still have 5 votes available for members of the Warren Lions Club, and there is still time to register. See Lion Lisa for the details. Opening before the Model Luncheon on Friday and closing after the meeting on Sunday morning will make the convention more efficient than in the past. International President Gudrun Yngvadottir will be with us throughout the convention. Dates are May 16th to 19th. Make your reservations now!
