Meetings

Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities and we have been doing so since 1917. We come from all walks of life and are all ages. In becoming a Lion you will become an active volunteer, a member of the largest international service organization, a leader in your community and a friend to people in need.

Membership is by invitation, so contact us today or come to one of our meetings to see if Lions Clubs is a good fit for you!

Right now, Lions are improving communities around the world. We act locally to improve lives globally. Whether it's working with Habitat for Humanity or installing a ramp on an existing home; providing disaster relief to our neighbors locally or communities affected by a natural disaster halfway around the world or providing diabetes awareness to those who need it, Lions are there when we are needed.

Early on, Lions were challenged by Helen Keller to become Knights of the Blind and we took that challenge and ran with it. We now have a training program, called Leader Dogs, that trains guide dogs in Michigan that will not only match people with a guide dog but train the person and the dog as well.

There are many reasons to become a member. As a Lion, you will:

• Help your community
• Gain valuable skills
• Make an impact on people's lives, both locally and internationally
• Learn to be a leader – and lead a respected organization
• Network with business people in your community and around the world
• Energize your life and have fun

You'll grow personally and professionally. And you'll know that what you do is worthwhile and appreciated.
