Meetings

A few pictures of Lions donating thier time selling programs at the world famous 12 Hours of Sebring races. A series of races over the course of 4 days. We depend on the generousity of time donated by volunteers and out of town Lion members to ensure that this sale goes on without any difficulties. This event allows us to help the community throughout the year with quality eye care and eye health. We thank all our volunteers who assisted in this sometimes hectic event.

A shot of our high tech "Office"

Inside the office hard at work.

Programs bagged and stacked in groups of 5. Ready for delivery to workers out on the track.

Workers toiling in the sun at the entrance to the track. It can get very busy here, with 3 lanes of traffic and only several feet separating cars.

Workers at the 1st bridge over track. Looks like shift change here.

Picture at 1st bridge showing how high it is. You can access the paddock and garage areas by crossing this bridge

Our permanent trailer in the midway. It has a big 4'x8' sign and a nice roof for people who are interested to come and talk as well as purchase a program.

Worker at bridge #2. It also goes over the track on the far side of the paddock area.

Workers in the paddock hawking programs.

Lion Lois at the entrance.

Another hard worker in the broiling sun.
