Thank those of you who generously contributed to our Give More 24! campaign. With your help, we raised over $4,500 to further advance our vision screening and other programs. If you missed the opportunity to donate on September 22, 2016, you can help now by clicking on the Donate button below. The Salmon Creek Lions Club has long been a committed financial supporter of and an active participant in the work of the Clark County Lions Sight Foundation and the Clark County Lions Hearing Committee. In addition, Salmon Creek Lions member, Dr. Jan Hurtubise, has facilitated the collection and re-use of thousands of used eyeglasses .
We have recently begun an outreach program to test people of all ages for vision difficulties. Our screening program uses portable test equipment that is able to measure the need for further testing by trained professionals. When a person requires further examination, but does not have insurance coverage, we provide an application form to enable them to seek financial aid with the Lions Sight Foundation of Clark County.
Current Organizational Needs: We have purchased and are using Vision Screening equipment to screen children and adults to determine the need for further professional examation. We seek funding to replenish our Foundation's account to continue contributions to other organizations, and the purchase at least one one additional vision-screening unit, with necessary accessories. The approximate replenishment and additional investment is $16,700..
Our affiliate, Salmon Creek Lions Foundation, is a 501(c)3 organization. Now you can help us serve others with your tax deductible contribution.
