For a modest $35 annual donation, Payson Lions club will ensure a flag is displayed at your business or home for seven major holidays: President's Day, Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day."



Our team will come in and price, advertise, sell and remove all items from the home for you. We will sell items at an estate sale and anything not sold can be donated to the charity of your choice. Lions share in the profits of the sales with owner.


  Annual scholarships are awarded to worthy students from the local community with emphasis on a health care curriculum.


Health Fairs

   Lions conduct eye screenings at local schools and health fairs checking for six different eye conditions using a state-of-the-art WelchAllyn Spot Vision Screener.


Payson Lioness Club

The Payson Lions Club sponsors the Payson Lioness Club as one of many projects serving Rim Country. The Lioness Club meets at 9 a.m. the third Saturday of the month at the Conference Room at Green Valley Apartments on McLane. For more information please call Barb at 928-468-1185

Eyeglass Collection

Used glasses and hearing aids may be dropped into boxes at WalMart Vision Center, local eye doctors or the Senior Center. In 2016, over 3,000 glasses from Payson were recycled.


Eyeglasses Application 

Anyone seeking Lions Club assistance in obtaining an eye exam and eye glasses should obtain a Lions application form at the Department of Economic Security offices on Longhorn in Payson. The form must be completed and mailed in to begin the process. Certain criteria must be met in order to obtain Lions assistance.


Road Cleanup

Payson Lions Club periodically cleans up trash along a one-mile section of Highway 188 near the ADOT Rest Area at the Highway 87 intersection.


Eye Screening

The Payson Lions Club seeks to partner with our local schools and organizations to provide eye-screening to our community.  With our state-of-the-art WelchAllyn Spot Vision Screener we are able to quickly detect a wide variety of eye conditions in people and children of all ages.
