The Governor Florida Lions

The Governor Florida Lions visited us during one of our meetings and to welcome new members. This was a very informative and welcome attendance. The meeting was also attended by other local Lions Clubs from Orange Park and Fleming Island.

   Bruce Davis, VIST Coordinator Veterans Administration spoke at our meeting in November 2019. Bruce is the VIST (Vision Impaired Service Team) Coordinator for the Gainesville VA Malcom Randall Facility. He has been with the VA for ober 38 years and is one of the most respected coordinators in the entire VA system. Bruce spoke on what the VA is doing for vision impaired veterans and services available.
