The Maplewood North Lions May Dinner Meeting will be our Annual Charter Night. Lion District Governor Dave Dominick will be on hand. It will be our 49th annual celebration of the club's founding! Sincerest sympathies go to Lion Arnie Omath as former Lioness Joy Omath lost her battle with ovarian cancer. She was laid to rest April 11. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lion Arnie and his family.

We collect used eyeglasses! They are truly the "gift of sight" to people in third world countries. In fact, we collected 4,375 pairs last year! If you've got old eyeglasses to contribute, drop them in a collection box at your local optical shop or call any Lion!
