Service Projects

We organise our annual Senior Citizens Luncheon for around 90 local elderly people in July/August at the Woodlands Centre in Rustington.

We collect unwanted spectacles in local shops and surgerys, which are delivered to Chichester Lions Club, who sort them and then send them to Medico France who clean and grade the spectacles ready for use in Eye Camps in Africa, India and Eastern Europe. If you would like one of our collection bins please let us know.

We supply the Lions "Message in a Bottles" and "Message in a Wallets"

We support the both Littlehampton Foodbank and the Littlehampton Community Fridge

We run a weekly collection on Thursdays to UK Harvest in Donnington to collect surplus food to deliver to Turning Tides and Creative Heart.

We support selected Lions Clubs International Projects overseas.

We also consider requests from local individuals, groups and organisations.

We have provided charity bookcases in the waiting rooms at Littlehampton Railway Station and Arundel Railway Station for passengers to borrow and swap books for a small donation.

In March we link up with Marie Curie to help them with their annual bucket collection.

We help with the Rustington Remembrance Day Service and Parade.

Social Events

Our Social Committee organise a monthly social usually in the third week of the month. These are open to partners, friends and prospective members. Just let us know if you would like to attend.

We hold our annual Charter Anniversary Dinner to celebrate our Club's Birthday. This is usually a formal event but is down to the current president to decide the type of event. We also hold our Handover Dinner in June when the officers for the new Lions Year take over their duties.
