“We Serve”

President message:
The La Habra Host Lions Club is the most dynamic service club in La Habra with more than 110 members. I am proud to have been a member since 2004. As club president my goals are simple:

  • Partner with my fellow Lions to engage our community to learn about Lions Club and how we help people in our community
  • Promote Membership; Join Us! It’s affordable to become a Lion. Be as active and involved as you want to be. You can’t substitute the feelings resulting from giving of your time, treasure or talent. Your membership dues help facilitate Lions International focus programs such as Sight and Hearing and much more.  Your service supports more than 15 local 501 © 3  charities including The La Habra Boys and Girls Club, Help for Brain Injured Children and The Gary Center. Picture yourself serving your community wearing our “blue shirt” helping at the Corn Festival, our largest fundraiser held the first full week of August.
  • Increase community awareness on our scope of programs.

The Gift of Sight & Hearing- Sight and Hearing referrals for children and their family members in need

4th Saturday “Lions in Action” helping Seniors, Military Veterans and Disabled Individuals restore morale and community pride through community collaboration

Promoting Literacy and Arts- We support the La Habra Children’s Museum, La Habra Historical Museum and participate in school literacy focused events

Sincerly yours,
