The East Windsor Ct. Lions Club 23B Celebrates 60 years of Lions service in May of 2013

In 1917 Melvin Jones a Chicago business man asked a small group of fellow busness people to form an organization with the feeling that a larger group of individuals could do more to help those in need than he could do as one individual. Today the Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.

A vision of one individual , Melvin Jones, helping those in need, Growing from community to community, state to state and country to country to over 1 million men & women to carry on the Melvin Jones vision.
