We Serve at Northwest Community Kitchen

Lions Host Snowy Easter Egg Hunt

Twenty-four Colebrook kids and their families braved the elements on March 28 for the Colebrook Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt. The annual event was held on the soccer field at Colebrook Consolidated School. Although the weather was brisk, the brightly-colored eggs were easier to spot against the white backdrop of the snow-covered field -- and every child took home candy and a toy. Special thanks to event co-chairs Tom Stanton and Cindy Fixer, the Gilbert Leos for wrapping the candy and CCS for use of the grounds!

To help meet this critical need, the Colebrook Lions Club recently collaborated with the American Red Cross on a second blood drive during 2014 that brought in an additional 25 pints, bringing our yearly total-to-date to 60 pints.
